Coronavirus Update - March 12th 2020

Posted on: 12 March 2020

The coronavirus continues to dominate headlines with new cases being announced each day.

At Home & Legacy we are monitoring the situation closely and following government guidelines and our own protocols.

We also have a robust business continuity plan (BCP) in place, should the current situation escalate.

The health and safety of our employees and customers remains our priority. As such we’ve introduced the following measures:

  • Provided employees with health and safety guidance to reduce the risk of spreading germs
  • Suspended international business travel
  • Applied a 14-day working from home policy for any employees travelling to or from affected countries
  • Encouraged employees to hold virtual meetings via video-conference wherever possible.

Suppliers

We’ve contacted all our main suppliers to ask them whether they or their supply chain has been exposed to any risks presented by the virus and the steps they’re taking to ensure the resilience of the service they provide to us.

We’re looking to secure our supply chain and will continue to monitor the situation.

We continue to monitor government advice and will adjust this approach in light of any further guidance.
