Home & Legacy Online shortlisted for E-trading initiative of the year award
Posted on: 05 July 2017
The award seeks to recognise those that have reached new heights of excellence in the ever-expanding area of e-trading through initiatives that have made a positive difference to their customers.
Since its launch in September 2016, our new e-trading platform ‘Home & Legacy Online’ has been a huge success. As a comparative quote engine built exclusively for high net worth insurance, Home & Legacy Online offers a streamlined question set, efficient quote generation and an aggregator-style interface that provides an ‘at a glance’ display of all available prices and products available.
The facility empowers brokers by letting them control their commission and providing the opportunity to download risk summaries, claims overviews, schedules and other relevant documentation.
Barry O’Neill, Managing Director at Home & Legacy said of the announcement:
“It’s great that the positive impact Home & Legacy Online has had on our business since its launch has been recognised by this nomination. Our brokers often comment on how easy and intuitive the platform is to use and its impact has been evident in a series of very positive business results over the last 10 months.
Simply being nominated for an Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Award is a brilliant achievement and a real testament to the hard work and dedication put in by both the platform’s development team and our account handlers who interact with the system on a daily basis.”
Also shortlisted in the E-trading category are: Zurich, Covéa, Ascent Underwriting and Direct Commercial. The winners will be revealed on Thursday 14th September during an awards dinner taking place at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, West London – so make sure to keep an eye out for the results.
