At the end of what has been one of the most challenging years in the high net worth insurance sector for a long time, we take a look back at 2019 at Home & Legacy...
Recognition and strong service delivery
We started this year by becoming the BIBA High Net Worth Scheme provider, which reinforces our position as a specialist high net worth insurance provider that brokers can trust and rely on.
Our claims department is delivering consistently exceptional service, month-on-month – which is reflected in an outstanding Net Promoter Score of 79.4 for the year to date.
In terms of operational underwriting service, we are finishing 2019 in a stronger place than where we started. You’ll have noticed faster service from our team and we plan to capitalise on this next year, being well and truly open for new business.
A year of system improvements
In 2019, we introduced a number of new systems and processes to enhance our offering to brokers. You told us there were improvements we could make to our household questions on Home & Legacy Online – so we made them.
We launched motor online at the end of last year and you felt the benefits throughout this year.
Mid-year, we launched claims online, which is now available for 24 hour claims reporting and claim update checking.
All of this has helped us improve efficiency in 2019, freeing up the time of our expert staff to help with your more complex enquiries.
Recently, we’ve been delighted to welcome Munich Re to our household panel. The partnership is already off to a great start which stands us in good stead for facing 2020.
We also recently updated and improved our landlord underwriting footprint and introduced even more competitive rates for our landlord insurance.
