Home & Legacy updates Terms of Business Agreement (ToBA) 2018

The Terms of Business Agreement (ToBA), which is signed by all agents appointed by Home & Legacy is being updated with effect from 25th May 2018 to 'Home & Legacy Intermediary ToBA, Version 6 April 2018'.
What has changed?
We have updated our ToBA to ensure that there is a compliant contractual agreement in place between you and us from 25th May 2018, when the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) applies in the UK. The GDPR requires amendments relating to data protection and the processing of personal data. The ToBA also includes updates related to the Insurance Distribution Directive and incorporates general feedback we have received from you.
Additionally, we will now no longer have a separate version of the ToBA for our agents with appointed sub-agents. There will only be one version of the Home & Legacy ToBA from 25th May 2018.
What should I do now?
Please download and read our new Terms of Business Agreement: 'Home & Legacy Intermediary ToBA, Version 6 April 2018'. If you are satisfied with the content and understand it, there is a signature page that can be signed and returned to email@example.com by the relevant person in your firm.

Although we now no longer have a separate version of the ToBA for agents with appointed sub-agents, we still require an up to date listing of sub-agents. So, if your firm has appointed any sub-agents who could introduce business to Home & Legacy please also download and complete our Sub-Agent Questionnaire and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org.

What happens if I don't do anything?
This new Home & Legacy Terms of Business Agreement (ToBA) will come into full force with effect from 25th May 2018. If we do not receive a signed signature page from your firm and you continue to trade with us after 25th May 2018, we will consider this to be affirmation of your acceptance in entirety of the terms and conditions of the revised Home & Legacy Intermediary ToBA, Version 6 April 2018.
You should not be using sub-agents unless we have received a completed Sub-Agent Questionnaire from your firm.
